The Spring Festival is approaching and with them the collaboration between the councils responsible for Celebrations, Youth and Health that will allow to celebrate the third edition of La Repanocha, the event designed as an alternative leisure for young people to enjoy the Day of the Bando de la Huerta .
A meeting that was presented this morning by council members Rebeca Pérez, Jesús Pacheco and Felipe Coello.
Thus, from 10 am to 7 pm, in a total area of ​​close to 11,000 square meters in the FICA fairgrounds and with free access, young people can enjoy a day of music and fun.
It should be noted that last year La Repanocha attracted more than 12,000 young people, becoming in just two years a very successful leisure alternative.
As for the entertainment area, a 1000 m 2 polygonal tent and water attractions will be installed to mitigate the high temperatures, as well as inflatables (surfing, giant slide, sweeper, etc.), bubble soccer or the biggest football table in the world. world, which will allow young people to enjoy leisure throughout the day.
"With the Repanocha we seek to offer young people a healthy leisure alternative, proposing activities, offering shadows, water and food at popular prices so that alcohol ceases to be the protagonist of the Bando," said Rebeca Pérez.
In addition, as in the last edition, the entire campus will have police surveillance and Civil Protection volunteers and will have a field hospital, ambulance and portable toilets, seeking the welfare and safety of all attendees.
"We must emphasize the proximity to the field hospital and the placement of service points with Red Cross volunteers in the premises, guaranteeing immediate medical assistance when necessary," said Felipe Coello.
As a novelty, this year a "Flash Mob" has been prepared for all attendees to participate in a dance, choreographed by the Murcia Dance Center academy, around 'Como yo', the last song by Murcian artist Xuso Jones who will see the light next March 23.
"Young people have shown that when they are called to do something great they always respond and that is what we wanted to do with the Flashmob. We want young people not to come to the venue thinking about drinking, but thinking that at 12:00 tomorrow we are going to make history with the biggest Flashmob made in the Region of Murcia ", explained Jesús Pacheco.
Precisely Xuso Jones will be in charge of putting the icing on a whole session of music with a concert in which he will review his best songs.
Before it will be the turn of Don Fluor, for lovers of Indie-pop, Rivotto and Cris Deluxe, and Brain Breakers, which will make the audience vibrate with their electronic music.
All this in a scenario of one hundred square meters and with a 40,000w sound system, LED screen and special lighting.
Although the assistants can bring their own food, bars with popular prices will be installed, to which two paellas will be added for 500 people each with a price of one euro, hot dogs and sandwiches throughout the day.
In addition, chocolate will be distributed with free churros in the early hours of the morning, bars will not sell alcohol, only water and soft drinks.
The most sustainable Repanocha
The Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, through the concessionaire Ferrovial Services, will take advantage of this day of concentration of young Murcia to inform and raise awareness of the need for collaboration to keep the city clean.
So with the aim of raising awareness that you can enjoy the party respecting and caring for the environment and the environment will make a mark of La Repanocha to be recognized as a festival with values ​​and civic codes of their own.
