The spokesman for the municipal group of Cambiemos Murcia, Nacho Tornel, said today that maintaining the four bus lines that LAT planned to abolish on March 23 "is only an interim solution", because the planning of these does not meet the needs of the neighbors, and has requested the recovery of line 61 and return to the itineraries prior to the Public Transport Optimization Plan.
In reference to line 18, which serves more than 33,000 people, Tornel has regretted replacing line 61 since 2012, whose routes and frequencies were "much more useful".
In addition, he reminded the administrations and the rest of the municipal groups that "we are not here to solve the LAT problem, but that of the users".
"Both the 39th and the 18th and the 7th are poorly planned and planned lines, maintaining them is one more error of the policy of precarization of transport carried out by the regional government."
Tornel has also referred to the fact that these lines, which are autonomous competition, do not fall within the MU093 concession of the Autonomous Community with the transport company.
This is "another big base problem that nobody in five years has solved".
