The City of Murcia opens its doors to more than one thousand seven hundred schoolchildren during the current course, within its campaign to bring the municipal activity to Murcia and the knowledge of the way in which decisions are made that influence the day to day of all the citizens.
In total it is expected that 1,742 students from schools visit the Consistory until June thanks to the development of the program "My city teaches", the Department of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage.
The visits are framed within two different activities.
In the first place "Our Town Hall" offers the possibility for the students to spend a morning knowing first-hand the dependencies of the City of Murcia and its organization, as well as the services that allow the development of the municipality.
In this plan, 753 boys and girls are going to make these visits.
In second place, and thanks to the route "Murcia en el tiempo", minors travel through historic Murcia, stopping at the Town Hall and enjoying the Plenary Hall.
In this case, he expects 989 schoolchildren to do this activity.
All of them are received by the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, or one of the councilors of the corporation, who respond to the doubts of small and small and bring them the operation of this institution within the activities carried out along the course.
