The City of Murcia tomorrow will give the go-ahead to a plan of works in districts amounting to 14 million euros, which will allow projects to be carried out in almost all the districts of the municipality and, in the few cases where this is not the case, there is commitment to include them in the next phase, with the losses obtained in the awards.
The councilman of Pedanías, Participation and Decentralization, Marco Antonio Fernandez, has summoned tomorrow the commission that must give green light to the relation of projects.
The meeting, which will have the presence of representatives of all municipal groups, occurs in compliance with the motion of the Plenary presented by the municipal groups of PP and PSOE, which provided this provision of 14 million euros of the cash surpluses for an Extraordinary Investment Plan that will be executed in districts.
The agreement also established that the list of projects will take into account the request of the municipal boards and would be studied by a joint commission formed by all the municipal groups.
This commission will take place tomorrow, at 9.30.
This Extraordinary Investment Plan was the result of the negotiation process that allowed to unblock the municipal budgets of 2017, 'putting the general interests of the municipality above the partisan ones', on' the premise of an important economic improvement to endow our districts with greater infrastructure than improve their living conditions, advancing one more step in the path of administrative decentralization and increasing budget allocations and management capacity on the part of boards', indicated the text of the proposal submitted to the Plenary.
