The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, visited this morning the 585m2 Youth Space where the training workshop of the Vives Emplea program is taught by the Acción Contra el Hambre Foundation.

The workshop began on February 26 and will continue throughout the year from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the attendance of users from 18 to 60 years of age.

42% of the people who have gone through these programs are already working and 29% have taken up studies to improve their training.

Vives Emplea is an Action against Hunger program aimed at increasing your opportunities to find a job through self-knowledge, motivation and improvement of skills and abilities.

Thanks to an innovative teamwork methodology, the capabilities to help users achieve their goals are valued.

"Participants have access to direct contacts with companies, employment events and workshops with Human Resources managers, and various experts will help them to motivate themselves, regain confidence in them and differentiate themselves from other candidates in future selective processes", explained Rebeca Pérez .

The objective of the Vives Emplea program is to promote the social and labor inclusion of people who are going through a difficult situation to access the labor market.

We generate the necessary conditions for you to develop your talent and initiative by acquiring the social skills and competences for the job that most companies demand

This is intended to promote the personal development of the participants, learning to identify their potential and shortcomings in the face of the difficulties of socio-labor insertion, strengthening their self-discovery, self-esteem and self-motivation, defining their objectives and mobilizing to achieve them.

An objective that seeks to increase the level of employability of the participants, based on their current and potential job search capabilities, defining their personal and professional objectives, and mobilizing to achieve them, both internally and externally.
