The municipal groups of PSOE and Cambiemos Murcia have denounced today the lack of will of the government team to launch the library project and study room of Sangonera la Verde.
The councilors Susana Hernandez and Nacho Tornel have explained that the head of Education, Rafael Gómez, committed two years ago to open these facilities, but today they remain closed.
"The building has been renovated and the rooms have furniture, there are boxes stacked and future users already have cards to access the study room, but they can not do it," said both councilors.
According to the representative of Cambiemos Murcia in the district, Jesús Marchena, and the socialist vocalist, Francisco Noguera, young people have been demanding for years the availability of a public space to study.
This request has been delayed for no known reason and, less now, that the facilities are almost ready to be opened to the public.
Tornel and Hernandez have also argued that this is a new case of neglect on the part of the municipal government to complete the projects closest to the needs of citizens, and have recalled that the study room of Los Dolores, a much later installation , it is already in operation.
"It seems that only the star projects in the La Glorieta environment deserve the attention of the PP", they concluded.
