The Faculty of Fine Arts will teach, starting next year, an own degree specialized in modeling and 3D animation.
This is a teaching that is not part of the system of official degrees of Spanish universities, but arise from the UMU's own offer of titles.
The degree is aimed at all those students who wish to train in depth in the sectors of 3D animation and video games.
The studies will have a three-year period and will include subjects on character creation, modeling, set-up of scenarios and animation techniques to apply them to movies and videogames.
The aim is to train qualified professionals who can fill the demand for jobs in productions, both in the animation sector and in the videogames sector, which are two of the fields of greatest professional growth in recent years.
