"Many days and nights giving the best of yourselves, providing security, tranquility and confidence to all Murcia," the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, addressed the five retired firefighters who were honored today with the Gold Badges of the City of Murcia, in recognition of his work and professional career in the Body.

The event, which took place in the Plenary Hall coinciding with the Day of the Firefighter Skipper, San Juan de Dios, was attended by the Councilor for Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, Lola Sánchez, and members of the Municipal Corporation .
