The works of the Monteazahar Garden of Beniaján that will turn it into a 100% accessible space are underway (05/03/2018)

The residents of Beniaján can enjoy a completely renovated garden.

The Mayor José Ballesta, accompanied by councilors José Guillén, Antonio Navarro and Maruja Pelegrín, visited this morning the Monteazahar Garden of the district where work has already begun to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

For this, the cobblestone pavement will be completely renewed, improving accessibility and decoration.

In addition, it will improve the aesthetics and accessibility of the existing scenario.

The works in this green space will consist of the complete renovation of the pavements, previously demolishing all the curbs and part of the existing concrete slab.

In addition, they will renew and extend the areas of stay, the areas of surplus and the garden will be reforested and reforested, lawn will be placed on the parterres and banks and urban furniture will be renewed, giving the garden a more modern aspect.

For the improvement of the stage, the front of the existing wall will be covered with corten steel sheet, which at the same time will be illuminated.

Other gardening activities will consist of the adaptation of gravel beaches delimited with corten steel sheet.

The works are being carried out by Eneas Servicios Integrales, with an investment of 97,734.17 euros and within a period of three months.
