Concerts, workshops, exhibitions, visits to Huerta's heritage and many other activities in the hamlets of Aljucer, Torreagüera La Albatalía, Los Garres, Monteagudo and Santiago and Zaraiche, among others, have been the protagonists in this first weekend of the third edition of the Week of the Huerta.
On Saturday morning there were activities such as the environmental volunteer session in the Contraparada for scientific ringing, the guided tour of the Molino del Amor at 11 am, the 3rd Harvest Festival in Aljucer and the Huertana Estampa in Torreagüera.
Also, the information booth located in the Plaza de Santo Domingo has been opened, which will be throughout the development of La Huerta Week to give information to those interested who come.
In the afternoon, the new 5-kilometer hiking route 'Huerta de Monteagudo' will open at 4 pm;
the Bowling competition from 4:30 p.m. in traditional catering establishments (in La Albatalía, Patiño, Los Garres, Casillas, Monteagudo and Rincón de Seca), the 'Moon Bike' route that starts at 7:00 p.m. Glorieta de España and the Light Painting workshop at 20:00 in the Palm Grove of Santiago and Zaraiche.
In addition, at 9:00 pm, a free concert of the Orfeón Fernández Caballero will be held at the Plaza Cruz Roja.
For its part, on Sunday March 4 will have several activities that begin at 11 am as the hiking route 'Huerta de Monteagudo', the second day of competition of bowling Huerta in the different districts and visit the Palmeral de Zaraiche, in which, later will be held the concert 'Folk in the Garden with the performance of Juan José Robles Trío.
