Next Sunday, March 11, at 10 am, the II edition of the Fundación Real Madrid solidarity race is held, a competition that is part of the activities of the Sports Festival, which takes place that same weekend of the 10th and 11th of March.
The race, which will start from the Prince of Asturias Pavilion, has two categories, one of five kilometers, for runners from 12 years in the absolute male and female, and another ten kilometers for competitors from 18 years.
Those who want to participate must register on the runningfundacionrealmadrid.es/circuito/murcia/ website and pick up their race number next Saturday, March 10 at the Prince of Asturias Pavilion, starting at 10 o'clock.
The deadline for registration is Thursday, March 8 and the fee to compete is 10 euros in the absolute categories and 5 euros in the children.
This highly successful event in Madrid with 6,000 participants has the maximum support for the Athletics Federation of Murcia and, although there are currently some 100 runners registered, it is expected to reach the 1,000 that competed in last year's edition.
The benefits of this career are aimed at projects to address diversity with the construction of socio-sporting schools in developing countries where the Real Madrid Foundation is currently working.
