Next Wednesday, March 7, at 9:00 pm, the charity concert will be held at the Romea Theater to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Brotherhood of the Rescue, in which the Discantus choir will participate with its official and youth sections and the musical association of Cabezo de Torres.

The benefits of this event, in which the cantata Carmina Burana by Carl Orff will be performed, will go to the Custodire association that deals with improving the quality of life of families, especially children, at risk of social exclusion.

The donation to get entry to this concert, sponsored by Obra Social La Caixa, is 10 euros and can be delivered to the Church of San Juan Bautista, the Rambla stationery and the Fuensanta oven.

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesus Pacheco, has asked "Murcia society to show its maximum support for this event, filling our Romea Theater, to, in addition to supporting this charitable cause, show affection for a brotherhood like the one of the Rescue that not only stands out for its processional parade every Holy Tuesday but also organizes the most numerous besapié organized in the city ".

Pacheco recalled that "the City Council will award the Gold Medal of the City to this brotherhood in recognition of its religious, historical and cultural link with the municipality of Murcia"
