The UMU and the city of Murcia welcome new international students in this academic year 2018/19 with a program of activities that includes excursions, visits to museums, cinema, welcome party, attendance at the Eagles carnival and even one night of tapas.
The initiative is organized by the Vice-Rector for Students, Internationalization and Sports and the City Council of Murcia and ESN-Erasmus Student Network Murcia collaborate.
The activities begin today Friday at 13.15 hours in the Hemicycle of Letters, Campus of La Merced, with a reception and presentation of the program of activities of the International Welcome Week by the Rector José Orihuela and the Vice-Chancellor of Students, Internationalization and Sports Carmen Ferrándiz.
On Saturday, February 3, there will be an excursion to Tentegorra, on Monday 5 a tour of Murcia, after a reception at the town hall by Mayor José Ballesta.
On Thursday 8 will be the international welcome party in the REM Pub and on Friday 9, at 6 pm, the screening of the film "Perdiendo el Norte", in the Hemicycle of the Faculty of Letters.
