Donations made by members of the staff of the University of Murcia (UMU) to the Jesus Abandoned Foundation have risen this year to 35,865 euros, in a growing line since a collaboration agreement was signed in 2012.
There has also been an increase since that year in the number of workers who give part of their income to the aforementioned Foundation, having gone from the initial 199 to the 247 this year.
In the six years that have elapsed, the UMU staff has delivered more than 204,000 euros to the Foundation.
The University has made an appeal to increase the number of donors and has highlighted the positive result that each worker and worker would convince two colleagues to add to that contribution of at least five euros per month.
