The spokesperson of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Murcia, Susana Hernandez, chairs the Special Committee on Strategies for Social Recovery, Integration and Citizen Participation, which today held its first meeting for its constitution whose creation was approved in plenary session.

This commission was created as an organ of participation to which correspond the functions of study in matters of strategic plans and projects to promote the development of the entire municipality.

In that sense, there are already completed projects or those that are on the table that will be evaluated in this work table.

The aim is to guarantee the effective application of the principles of participation and transparency in municipal management, as Susana Hernández has pointed out.

"All political groups present in the Consistory have agreed that this commission should focus on reviewing the rules of citizen participation to improve the standard by which, among other issues, governs the functioning of municipal boards," he said. .

"Since the PSOE is focused on the need to provide better services also to the districts and neighborhood participation is important and will take into account the opinion of associations and civic groups," added the socialist mayor.

The commission, which also includes the councilors of the PSOE Enrique Ayuso and Juan Vicente Larrosa and councilor Maite Espinosa, will meet at least once every three months and prepare an annual report of activities that will collect the work done by the same and its conclusions, memory that will be raised to the Plenary Session of the City Council.

In addition, the creation of a work table that will be convened monthly to advance the drafting of the new regulation has been proposed.

This working group is the second that presides over a representative of the PSOE in the Town Hall and joins the Special Commission of Suggestions and Complaints, at the head of which Enrique Ayuso appears.
