The Governing Board has approved various measures to create and consolidate employment in the City Council, and improve the future prospects and working conditions of municipal employees which will allow to continue increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the City Council and, therefore, offer a better service to Murcia.
In this way the Public Employment Offer for 2017 has been approved, with free access, consisting of 26 Local Police seats, 8 special vehicle drivers and 3 Fire and Rescue Service operators. , responding to the commitment to strengthen the areas that work for the safety of Murcia.
These 37 places, agreed unanimously in the General Negotiating Table on November 24, takes into account the casualties and highs produced in the official staff of the City of Murcia in 2016 and the provisions of Law 3/2017 Regarding the replacement rate, the maximum number of places that can be replaced by new staff through public employment offer.
On the other hand, the bases of the opposition notice have been approved for another 47 places of Local Police agent, which include 21 of the Public Employment Offer corresponding to 2016 and 26 corresponding to the 2017 Public Employment Offer;
reserving the remaining 9 for the provision by the mobility system.
Applicants must be Spanish citizens, of legal age, hold a Bachelor or technical degree and have a minimum height of 1.70 meters for men and 1.65 meters for women.
In addition, they must possess the driving licenses of motorcycles of all cylinders and cars and lack a criminal record for fraudulent crimes.
The term of presentation of instances will be twenty calendar days from the following to the publication of the extract of the call in the Official State Gazette.
The selection process will consist of a free opposition, medical examination and selective course.
The opposition will consist of five exercises: a questionnaire of 100 multiple-choice questions, with four alternative answers, on the contents of the topics related in the agenda of the bases;
a test of carving and physical fitness tests;
a resolution of a written test, consisting in solving two practical cases;
an oral presentation of four subjects taken at random and tests of psychotechnical aptitude.
After the qualification of the fifth year, the medical examination will be carried out.
Applicants who have obtained the highest qualification must complete a theoretical and practical training course of at least three months.
The Governing Board has also approved the general bases that must govern in the calls for employment corresponding to the offer of 2015, year in which the largest public employment offer in history was approved by the City Council, located in almost a a thousand places.
The agreement reached today affects both officials and labor workers.
