The Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, has convened the social entities of the municipality that host and work with immigrants to a meeting due to the increase in the arrival of boats to the coasts of the Region.
A meeting to be held tomorrow Thursday at 12:30 in the Board Room of the Department.
"It's about listening to their demands and needs in the face of the constant arrival of boats with immigrants to our coasts, trying to coordinate the resources and municipal services so that they can make themselves available to the NGOs and contribute to the work they do with these people." , highlighted Conchita Ruiz.
"With this action we look forward to the events given the alarming increase of boats that are crossing the Strait in recent weeks, to ensure quality assistance and establish support measures for these associations that become the first contact that these people they find when they step on land, "he concluded.
