Beniaján's Monteazahar garden will be completely renovated (14/09/2017)

The Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén, through the Parks and Gardens Service, will carry out the project to improve the accessibility and renovation of the Monteazahar Garden in Beniaján.

In order to guarantee the safety of pedestrians, the pavement will be completely renovated, thus improving accessibility and ornamentation.

On the other hand, it will improve the aesthetics and accessibility of the existing scenario.

The works in the garden will consist of the complete renovation of the pavements, previously demolishing all the curbs and part of the existing concrete hearth.

In addition, renovate and expand the living areas, areas to spare and will be rebuilt and reforestated the garden, will lay grass on the beds, renovate benches and street furniture, giving the garden a more modern look and eliminating all risk of fall.

For the improvement of the scenario, the front of the existing wall will be clad with corten steel sheet, which will also carry an illuminated sign.

Other activities of gardening will consist in the adaptation of some beaches of gravel delimited with sheet of corten steel.

For all these jobs will require a period of execution of three months, with an investment of 163,000 euros.
