The project 'Guided Tours Plural Female' returns to the street with a route prepared for journalists of the municipality (27/05/2017)

The visit is scheduled for May 29 from 10'00 to 11'00 with departure from the city museum.

On this occasion we will analyze aspects such as female conventual life, domestic archeology, society and economy, leisure for women, iconography in women and education or teachers

The Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, announced this morning that next Monday May 29 will be held a new appointment within the project 'Guided Tours Feminine Plural' and that will be aimed at professionals of the press and media.

Making the exit from the City Museum, it is intended to show in a succinct way, the different routes of the "Plural Female" project, addressing the following topics: female conventual life, domestic archeology, society and economy, leisure for / Iconography in feminine, education and teachers.

Making a brief and pleasant walk through the city of Murcia, an hour of duration, you will be able to know the heritage from a new perspective, more plural, to make visible what has been the contribution and trajectory of the lives of women who inhabited our city .

The event is part of the tours prepared for the second edition of the project that the Department of Social Rights organizes in collaboration with the Museum of the city with the aim of expanding and making visible the contribution that women have made at economic, social or political level Throughout our historical past, using the cultural resources of the municipality.

The project, which is informative, is not exclusively aimed at women, but its interest lies in showing the general public the feminine view from the point of view of the history and heritage of the districts of Murcia and its districts.

It should be remembered that in 2017 there have already been three tours about Iconography in women, Literature in women and Museums and women and that after the celebration of the presented today will be returned in September with 4 new routes until the end of year.
