The City Council promotes a new program to promote socio-educational intervention in minors at risk of exclusion (28/04/2017)

The Governing Board gives a green light to a project that will work with young people between the ages of 13 and 17 and that includes a calendar of activities to improve their social inclusion from a gender perspective.

This is the first intervention of the Council of Social Rights with minors of these ages.

The City of Murcia will allocate 539,000 euros to launch a new program with adolescents at risk of exclusion, whose award has approved today the Governing Board.

This approval favors the generation of specific reference contexts for adolescents, from which to respond to their demands and needs and those of their families, constituting a network of educational resources that add to those existing in the territory of an educational, Formative-labor, socio-cultural and community, as a means of acting and preventing, in those situations of risk or exclusion in which they may be immersed.

The actions will be developed in the districts and districts and will help young people to compensate for their shortcomings and needs both social and educational, indispensable frameworks for the detection and intervention in the problems that affect them by enhancing their aspirations, affecting aspects of their lives Daily life, that of his family, the educational center and the group of equals, being the leisure and leisure area, as well as the training aspect, indispensable frameworks for detection and intervention in the problems that affect them.

The period of development and development of the project will last until July 31, 2018, including summer activities during the month of July.

Activities according to your needs

The activities will be scheduled in coordination with the Department of Social Rights based on the profile, needs and interests of adolescents and will be scheduled quarterly during the school year and specifically for the Summer School period.

- Culture

- Leisure and free time
