The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has arrested a driver of a van as a suspected drug trafficker in Fraganti, after being caught in a check on the RM-603 with 120 grams of marijuana buds hidden in the Inside the vehicle.

The action, which is part of the 'Operative Plan for Police Response to Traffic and Consumption of drugs in leisure and entertainment areas', has resulted in the arrest of the arrested person, as well as the seizure of the drug and the vehicle.

The events took place during the night of Monday, April 24, when civilian guards specializing in the prevention of public safety established a preventive operative device to control people and vehicles on the road RM-603, as it passes through the Murcian hamlet of Sangonera the Green.

Among other vehicles, civil guards stopped a van whose driver while identified showed a high state of nervousness, which led to a thorough inspection of both the vehicle and its driver.
