The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, presents the V Interregional Championship of Bodybuilding and Fitness in favor of the non-profit platform 'Todos con Natalia' to be held this Saturday at 16:30 hours in the sports hall of Puente Bacon.
The presentation was attended by the president of the Murcian Federation of Fiscoculturism, Pedro J. Villa, the provincial mayor of Puente Tocinos, Enrique Carrillo, and Carmen María Alarcón, president of the association 'Todos con Natalia'.
The donation to attend is 12 euros for adults and free admission for children under 10, although they can make their contributions, which will go to this non-profit association.
Coello emphasized that "it is important to give visibility and collaborate with associations like 'Todos con Natalia' to raise awareness of the population.
And what better way to do it than with sport and with this solidarity championship in which the attendees, while enjoying it, help in the investigation of diseases like Niemann-Pick type C ".
'All with Natalia' is a non-profit association led by Carmen María Alarcón, Natalia's mother who died on January 3 and whose objective is to give visibility to Niemann Pick C disease, its problem, and whose mission Main is to promote scientific research of the same.
This entity is part of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER).
For this disease there is currently no cure treatment and it is neurodegenerative with a 100% mortality rate.
