The Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, was responsible for inaugurating this afternoon the conference "Effective communication begins with listening", organized by the university association JUDOC, attended by many students of the faculties of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia.
A participative talk that has allowed to transfer the experience of professionals from the world of communication to the day to day of young people.
It is one of 66 projects funded by the Department of Youth to promote cultural exchange, as well as cultural, leisure or political activities among adolescents in the municipality of Murcia.
In total, the City Council has earmarked 60,000 euros since 2016 for these activities, of which 58% have been made in districts.
The course will culminate tomorrow and on this occasion Manuel Pleguezuelo, General Director of Citizen Participation, European Union and External Action of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and Miguel Ángel Pérez, Director of Cabinet of the City of Murcia.
In this way the consistory maintains its commitment to support the cultural, social, formative or voluntary initiatives that promote the civic and citizen participation of young Murcia.
