Let's change Murcia asks for more transparency on the issues discussed in the Boards of Government (23/04/2017)

Let's change Murcia will ask at the Town Hall Plenary next Thursday that the Government team transfer to the municipal groups the agenda with the issues that will be discussed in the sessions of the Governing Board before they are held.

According to the councilor who will defend the initiative, Nacho Tornel, the opposition formations receive the order, together with a brief information on the issues discussed in the meeting and the minutes of the previous one, hours after it has occurred.

This fact, which Tornel describes as "not suitable for the exercise of transparency", results in the groups not knowing the agreements in depth until a week after the meeting, which "severing our right to information And conditions our capacity for political action. "

Tornel also drew attention to the fact that the Government team first reported to the media rather than the formations of the conclusions of the meetings, but did so on the issues that the Government itself considered, leaving aside the issues dealt with Which were not part of the agenda, which are not included in the documents sent to the groups.

"It should be remembered as a sad example of the outcome of the municipal school La Paz, whose fate was agreed as a matter not included in the agenda of a Board of Government."

That is why, in the motion, the municipalist formation also requests that at the end of each session the text of all the agreements adopted under the draft character is transferred.
