The Department of Education through the Municipal Library Network of Murcia has organized 63 activities in the 17 libraries that are part of this network on the occasion of the Book Day in which is expected to participate 2,500 people.
From tomorrow to Friday along with the days 2 and 4 of May organize events to encourage reading as the literary walks with Antonio Botías or Paco López Mengual,
The complete program organized by the Municipal Library Network on the occasion of Book Day 2017 is as follows:
Monday, April 24
- Walks with history.
Stroll through the main places with history of the neighborhoods of San Andrés, San Antolín and San Basilio, guided by the Chronicler of the city of Murcia, Antonio Botías.
The visit ends at the San Basilio Library with a visit to an exhibition of old photographs of the places visited.
- Reading texts in the Plaza de Santo Domingo.
The participants in the clubs of easy reading (LF) of the Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia, participate in a reading of texts with which they will celebrate World Book Day.
The texts will revolve around the figure of Gloria Fuertes.
Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
