The sixth edition of Fiesta de los Buñuelos, promoted by Ginés Monserrate, of San Antón Hardware, has today brought together hundreds of neighbors in a popular free tasting with over 1,500 servings of fritters served with hot chocolate.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who inaugurated the huertano showcase that decorates the façade of the hardware store, highlighted "the attention to detail and love that Ginés has put in this showcase that pays homage to our traditions" and added that "in this Fiesta manifests itself to the character and the energy of the people of Murcia ".
The event, which has become one of the most popular in the party program, was also attended by Doña Sardina, the Queen of the Orchard and its Court, and the presidents of the Sardinera Group and the Peñas Huertanas Huertanas .
