Three electric vehicles will distribute about 200,000 plants in the green areas of the municipality (07/04/2017)

The Governing Board has approved the award of the supply of plant for replacement in municipal green areas and three electric vehicles for the distribution of these plants by the various parks and gardens of the municipality.

Thus, about 200,000 flower plants will be supplied during a year of a hundred different species.

In addition, with this obligation to the contractor that the distribution is made in this type of vehicles, which do not emit polluting gases and barely emit noises, the City Council seeks to contribute to the improvement of air quality and the environment.

The awarded company has been Actúa Servicios y Medio Ambiente, SL with an investment of 232,320 euros.
