The top five teams will participate in the International Physics Olympiad, which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from July 16 to 24 and the next four will represent Spain in the Ibero-American Physics Olympiad, to be held in Colombia.
The National Physics Olympiad has been held since the end of the 1980s, in which students enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of Bachillerato or the last year of Secondary Vocational Training take part.
Its objective is to stimulate the development of national and international contacts in the field of the teaching of Physics at pre-university level, in recognition of the growing importance of Physics in all aspects of Science and Technology and in the integral formation of young boys.
