The City Council has taken action at all levels to seek the resolution of the labor dispute of Home Help (03/04/2017)

Tomorrow there will be two new developments: a hearing in the court that will address the precautionary embargo measure and, on the other hand, the Committee will open the technical proposals submitted by three companies to take over the service from now

The City of Murcia continues to carry out actions to try to contribute to the resolution of the labor dispute in the company Ayudemur, SAL, Home Help.

In this sense, the following actions have been carried out:

- Tomorrow, a hearing will be held in the court, which will be attended by the parties, Corporate and Home Assistance Committee, SAL, which will address the precautionary embargo measure that has been requested by the committee.

After this act will know if is going to issue judicial order of attachment, or, if not, decide what measures can be taken to ensure the right of recovery of workers.

- At the moment the new set of specific administrative clauses and technical requirements for the contracting of this benefit for a period of two and a half years is in the bidding stage a budget of 14.2 million euros.

The objective is to guarantee a quality service for home help users and adequate working conditions for the workers who provide it.

Tomorrow, the contracting table will open the technical proposals submitted by the three companies that have attended the tender.

- Promote the mediation between company and strike committee to resolve the conflict.

Not only has it been promoted, but actually carried out, two acts have been carried out in an attempt to reach an agreement accepted by all parties, and thus to try to resolve the conflict, or at least to stop the strike.

- Provide emergency financial aid for those workers who comply with the requirements of the Emergency Economic Aid Regulatory Ordinance.

- Management performed with the company, at the request of the committee itself, to give the City the right to collect, resulting in the express refusal of the company itself.

- The City Council appeared in the Court to show its willingness to collaborate with any precautionary measures adopted by the Court for the payment of the payrolls of the Helpers at Home.

- Execute a sanction against the company for failing to perform actions included in the contract, which contributed to a favorable score in the assessment of the company's offer in the process of awarding the contract.
