The Governing Board has approved the project report for the professional qualification program for young people and the grant application to the Directorate General for Relations with the Autonomous Communities.
The objective of this project is the integration of young people in the labor market, in the context of the Youth Guarantee by carrying out training activities constituent of itineraries integrated in the catalog of professional qualifications for the improvement of their training and their employability.
The activities will begin next September and will run until March 2018.
Youths over the age of 16 and younger than 30 years registered in the National Youth Guarantee System file may participate.
Within this profile, priority will be given to those groups which, because of their characteristics, are particularly vulnerable, such as younger and less educated young people, who have left the education system without obtaining a degree, which makes it difficult for them to be integrated into the Placing them at risk of social exclusion.
The total number of participants may be about 135 in 9 groups of 15 students.
The specialties that will be given are the following:
Activities auxiliary to Commerce and Warehouse
Auxiliary Operations for the Installation of Electrical Installations and Telecommunications in Buildings
Basic Operations of Housing Flats
Plumbing and Heating Operations-Domestic Air Conditioning
Auxiliary Services of Aesthetics
Hairdressing services auxiliary
Auxiliary Operations of Mechanical Manufacturing
Auxiliary Operations of Vehicle Body Maintenance
Operations of recording and processing of data and documents (Informatics)
Thus, this program offers training for young people in order to obtain a level 1 professional qualification, in order to get a first job and thus start their professional future, thus giving a response to a population that can not be integrated into a program Education, nor can enter the labor market by not having a minimum training.
They will also improve their level of linguistic and mathematical skills and will be able to prepare for the presentation to the test of obtaining the graduate in ESO and the tests of access to regulated vocational training.
Finally, participants will be able to acquire social skills, educating on healthy habits, values, promoting equality between men and women and improving self-esteem.
The cost of the project is 611,668 euros and the City Council will request a grant to the Directorate General for Relations with the Autonomous Communities.
