The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, and the Councilor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sánchez, along with representatives of members of the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías and some cofradías and municipal technicians of different services have performed this morning the traditional Tour through the streets of the urban center in order to check all the access and the good condition of the different infrastructures necessary for the passage of the Holy Week processions.
This way seeks to eliminate any obstacle that prevents the good running of the different parades such as cables, street lamps, containers, pivots ...
Thus, members of the Cabildo and the cofradías have requested the elevation and withdrawal of wiring in the side of Cathedral, Oliver Street and Platería among others.
In certain places, such as the one of the Apostles and the Flowers, it will be necessary to prune the woodland while in different zones will have to rearrange the terraces.
In Platería it will be necessary to remove the supports of the banners of the lampposts and in the surroundings of the Plaza of Santa Eulalia and in the Place of Romea will have to spread sand in the pavement to avoid slips of shelves.
