The Government Board has approved different agreements and expenses to continue promoting and maintaining the cultural traditions and festivals of Murcia that, in addition, serve as tourist attraction of the municipality.
Thus, the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, will thus maintain its line of work with which it seeks to combine innovation with the maintenance of traditions in the various festivities and cultural events held in the municipality.
In this way, spending has been approved for the realization of the festival program which includes the International Tunas Contest, the Guitar Festival, the International Festival of Folklore in the Mediterranean, the International Festival of Three Cultures and the National Band Competition of music.
To this must be added the subsidy to the Sardinera Association and the expenditure for the realization of the program of activities around parties and collaboration agreements with the Thader Shopping Center, the Nueva Condomina Shopping Center and Talleres M. Gallego Murcia.
All this adds up to 1,468,201 euros.
