The Local Development Agency hosts a new Launch of Employment in Murcia (23/03/2017)

20 unemployed people participate in an innovative program in the fight against unemployment promoted by Fundación Santa María la Real, Fundación Telefónica and the Regional Government of Murcia, with the collaboration of the City Council and the co-financing of the European Social Fund

The Local Development Agency hosts a new Employment Launch in Murcia, in which 20 unemployed people have begun training a new job search.

It is an innovative program in the fight against unemployment promoted by Fundación Santa María la Real, Fundación Telefónica and the Regional Government of Murcia, with the collaboration of the City of Murcia and the co-financing of the European Social Fund.

During the next five months, they will meet several days a week in premises assigned by the City.

With the help of a specialized technician, they will carry out activities to improve their employability and have new possibilities of labor insertion.

The team of the new Launching of Employment of Murcia is made up of 20 unemployed people (14 women and 6 men), aged between 19 and 34, and various training profiles: ESO, Vocational Training, Bachelor and University studies

There are those who look for their first job and who are looking for an opportunity after being unemployed after years of experience in different sectors, such as administration and management of companies, finance, computer science, mechanics, commerce, journalism, veterinary or nursing, among others.

The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, expressed the satisfaction of the City Council for "collaborating with a project that, together with other programs we develop aimed at training and entrepreneurship, allows us to improve employment prospects for people Who lack a job ".

Lola García, a Santa María la Real Foundation technician, has carried out the selection process and will be in charge of managing the shuttle during the next five months.

In this time, you will have among your objectives to make the participants in the program a team and share the same goal: to help each other to improve their professional skills, undertake a more proactive and coordinated job search, to have new job opportunities.

"For the most part, they feel lost and find it very difficult to be called in for an interview.

The possibility of being able to connect an innovative formation with the future professional draws much attention and generates hope for achieving it, or at least try, "says Lola.

What will they do in the Shuttle?

From now and during the next five months, will meet several days a week in premises ceded by the City of Murcia.

They will carry out various activities to improve their employability: coaching sessions and emotional intelligence, communication dynamics, personal branding and job search 2.0;

Interview training;

Mapping of employability, visits to companies and meetings with human resources managers with the aim of achieving the full participation of the twenty participants.
