Cabezo de Torres will host, next Sunday, April 2, the III Carrera '10K.
- Cabezo de Torres International - THADER Service Station 'which is expected to attract 800 participants.
The circuit, organized by the Club Senderismo de Cabezo de Torres, approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation and promoted by the Department of Sports and Health with the collaboration of THADER Service Station, will be developed on urban land with several laps on a circuit Total of 10,000 meters.
The objectives of this test are to raise funds to collaborate with the Spanish Association against Cancer, since a euro of each inscription will go to this institution, promote the sport among young people of Cabezo de Torres and constitute a reference career in Murcia.
The exit and finish will be in the Church Square of Cabezo de Torres and will have to complete a return of 2,400 meters and a last turn of 7,600 meters that will run through the old part of Cabezo de Torres with ascent to Cabezo Azul.
Thus, the participants will cross the Calle Mayor, Salesian College, Palacios, Infanta Elena Multipurpose Center, Constitution Garden, Rambla del Carmen, Football Field and Cabezo Azul.
From 10 hours will develop the absolute male and female, from 18 years and with a length of 10,000 meters;
Starting at 12 o'clock, the lollipop category for children from 3 to 6 years and with a length of 300 meters;
At 12.15 am, 7 to 10 year olds who will run a distance of 900 meters and finally, at 12.30 hours, young people from 11 to 17 years old, with a distance of 1,800 meters.
The prizes will be in cash for the first 10 of the general category (between 500 and 25 euros);
For the first three of national (from 300 to 75 euros), for the first three of regional (from 100 to 25 euros) and for the first three of local (from 50 to 10 euros).
Equally will be awarded to those who surpass the record of the test (which currently stands at 29.48 minutes for men and 35.09 minutes for women) with 1,200 euros to be distributed among athletes who exceed the established time.
In addition, gifts obtained by our collaborators will be raffled between the participants and a bag will be distributed among the first 700 registered with products from the region of Murcia such as spices, paprika, lemons, vinegar, juices, plus a commemorative technical shirt and some Backpacking hiking techniques for the first 200 enrolled.
The participants will also have showers for the participants in the sports pavilion next to soccer field, massage by team of physiotherapists of the UCAM, in the garden of the Constitution, and a giant paella for 1,000 people.
