The Local Police learn to reduce, reuse and recycle thanks to workshops organized by the Department of Development (13/03/2017)

The Department of Development, headed by Roque Ortiz, along with the concessionaire Ferrovial Servicios have accompanied the Local Police in the celebration of events in honor of its patron Saint Patrick.

Thus, in the premises of the Local Police located in the Infante Juan Manuel, families and assistants have enjoyed different activities related to the care of the environment and waste.

The smaller ones have realized a workshop to convert the tubes of hygienic paper in an airplane, becoming aware on the importance of the reutilization and recycling of the different materials that are used daily.

They have also been able to color the crocodile Drilo and his friends who this year lead a campaign of the Department of Development teaching children in various schools in the municipality the importance of learning the three erres of waste.

These workshops have allowed participants to have fun while learning to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.

Also on this day has been installed an exhibitor to publicize the book '12 walls, 12 months', recently edited by the Department of Development and Ferrovial Services, with work done from the Grafiti Municipal Office.

Also, 500 bags of the campaign 'No seas marrano' have been distributed as well as brochures with information on the correct deposit of the residues when separating them in the different containers.
