Citizens asks José Ballesta to be "coherent and responsible" when approving budgets for the benefit of the common interest (12/03/2017)

Mario Gómez: "It's time to talk about readjusting items and optimizing spending to achieve a more efficient and fair administration, it's time to not fool with revenues and meet the criteria of prudence, it's time to be consistent and defend the interests of everybody"

The municipal group Citizens will ask this week the PP government that feels to consensue the municipal budgets from a real perspective, "with dates set for the implementation of some of the proposals that we have called the opposition,

And determining what concrete investments will be able to be carried out effectively, and which ones will not. "

"We have come to change the way we do politics;

In the districts where Cs has representation we are doing, and our neighbors are already enjoying a better and greater distribution of public money in concrete investments for their towns and neighborhoods, "said Mario Gomez, spokesman for the orange formation.

For Citizens, "it is imperative that the local Government acquire real commitments also in the Consistory";

"And for this," said Gómez, "it is necessary to improve municipal management and oversee contracts, so that neighbors can receive the services they deserve, with the highest quality, the lowest cost and equal conditions."

The statements of intentions of José Ballesta and his team, "cried the spokesman of Cs," are very good for a beginning of the legislature, not when we know what the word and the agreements adopted so far by the Popular Party.

"The Murcians," he continued, "are tired of empty agreements, want facts that cover the needs they deserve by right and for which they pay their taxes."

In this regard, the spokesperson for the orange formation has been overwhelming: "We will demand firm commitments, with specific dates for their approval and linked budget items, so that they can not be modified, as has been done so far."

"If we have asked citizens to tighten their belts, we can not do otherwise and pull public money to invest in tents, theaters and stages," Gómez said.

In this sense, he clarified that "it is time to manage for all, neighbors have to perceive that budgets have been made to cover their needs and ensure the quality of public services, and not to support partisan interests"

Thus, Gómez has stated that citizens are not sold for a handful of works, through a special plan that has nothing to do with the actual approval of municipal accounts.

"It's time to talk about the budget, to readjust items and to optimize spending to achieve a more efficient and fair administration;

It is time not to cheat on income and meet the criterion of prudence;

It is time to be responsible and defend the interests of all Murcia, "he has defended.
