The patroness of the city of Murcia, the Virgin of Fuensanta, is already in the Cathedral.
At 15:00 hours he left his Sanctuary in Algezares to arrive at 20:00 hours to the cathedral temple where he will remain during Lent, Holy Week and Spring Festivals until May 2, the day he will return to the mountain again.
Accompanied by thousands of pilgrims, it arrived after 19:00 hours to the parish of Our Lady of the Carmen, where it was received by the Bishop of Cartagena, the Cabildo Catedralicio and the local authorities.
The visit that the patroness of Murcia is now doing is on the occasion of the anniversary of the canonical coronation of the image, which took place in the spring of 1927.
Monsignor Lorca presented all the Murcians, especially the elderly and sick, to 'La Morenica'.
