The PSOE calls for a better and more secure regulation of traffic on the main street of El Esparragal to avoid new mishaps (06/03/2017)

The Municipal Socialist Group has warned of the risk of traffic accidents in the Calle Mayor of El Esparragal, since the steep curve existing at the height of the Church, as well as the narrowing of this street, which is the main road of circulation and connection Of the population, has already caused various mishaps, especially against one of the adjoining buildings.

For this reason, socialist representatives at the Municipal Board consider it urgent and necessary to regulate the traffic, perhaps with traffic light control and speed limit, on Main Street in order to provide more security to the movement of both vehicles and people, since That the sidewalks also have no uniformity in height or pavement, and in some sections are non-existent.

"This is just another example of the discrimination suffered by the districts," says the socialist Enrique Ayuso, who requests a study of traffic to order this street.

In addition, this road supports all kinds of traffic, including interurban buses, which invade the opposite lane when they are traveling, for "what the danger is real", says Ayuso, who toured the main street of El Esparragal accompanied by the vice-president of the Municipal Board , Andres Perez, and other socialist voices.

However, "it is not only a problem of traffic, which can have serious repercussions, it is also impotence, which we constantly denounce when we deal with a matter of districts, which is faced by representatives of neighborhood meetings because they do not know who to contact "Says Ayuso, who remembers that the street belongs to the road network of the Autonomous Community and, in addition, when passing the Zaraiche ditch, the Junta de Hacendados also has powers.

Indeed, another complaint is that a part of the cistern has ceded and caused several cracks and, although the Neighborhood Board has brought it to the attention of the Junta de Tierrasados, it has not been solved, apparently, by economic problems .

Therefore, the councilor of the PSOE ensures that "so much administration intervening causes two serious facts, first, the difficulty to know who to address and the second is the delay in time that prevents problems never finish solving," Reason why it returns to claim to the City council a unique office to inform and to direct to the pedantic mayors, and to solve of agile way all the deficiencies that appear and the procedures that they need.
