The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, held a breakfast today with the 25 candidates for Reina 2017 of the Federation of Elderly Centers of the municipality of Murcia.
The event, which was attended by councilors Maruja Pelegrín and Conchita Ruiz, was the first contact of the candidates chosen by their respective centers, in a day of coexistence.
"In addition to its beauty, the 25 candidates stand out for their joy, vitality and light, as excellent representatives of the Murcian woman they are," said the mayor, who added that "the aspirants are going to travel to Caravaca de la Cruz and the day March 25 will participate in the grand gala election of the Queen of Elders 2017.
At the gala, the candidates, who are already being interviewed by the jury, will have the opportunity to parade on the red carpet in a ceremony where they will be wrapped by their relatives and friends, and will have the presence of the mayor and the councilor of Social rights.
