Zapata: "thanks to the agility of the Department of Decentralization we have been able to carry out the projects in a more efficient and fast way"
The Municipal Board of Llano de Brujas has executed 100% of the budget allocated to the hamlet in 2016 and amounted to 177,881 euros.
In this way it has been invested in numerous reforms and adaptations necessary for the progress of Llano de Brujas, in associations, parties and in improving the quality of life of the neighbors.
The provincial mayor Jesús Zapata stressed the important work carried out by the Department of Decentralization since it has streamlined the work of the Municipal Board.
"Thanks to the agility of this council we have been able to carry out the projects in a more efficient and fast way, which has a direct impact on the well-being of the neighbors," says Zapata.
The pedestrian mayor adds that "everything we have we put at the service of the neighbors, supporting and repairing the small flaws that can hinder their life in Llano de Brujas."
The Municipal Board has invested its budget in paving more than 500 meters in streets of the orchard that has this hamlet as it is the lane of Los Bodegas, the lane of Los Cristianos, the lane of Los Pelayos, the crossing of the Aljada river and the Crossing of the road of Cabecicos.
Likewise, they have proceeded to the construction of sidewalks that did not exist in the streets Mariano Caballero, the sidewalk of Los Zapatos or the sidewalk of Los Callejas, among others.
In addition, new energy-saving light points have been installed in streets that previously lacked illumination, such as the Los Perez lane, Los Pichotes lane or the Aceros road.
In the public school Juan Carlos I were installed four air conditioners, in addition to rehabilitating the floor of one of its classrooms.
Support to associations
Zapata states that "from the Municipal Board we want to support the initiatives that arise in Llano de Brujas to encourage the participation of the neighbors in the hamlet and that they feel heard and supported, so that to see that their work is important, we help The different associations that want to carry out activities in our locality ".
In Llano de Brujas more than 10 associations and entities have received support from the Municipal Board to develop their work in the hamlet, such as the Club Deportivo Plus Ultra that promotes the sport, the women's center and the center for the elderly, with its Fundamental work for these groups, the association of carnival whose festivals are celebrated now, the association of neighbors or the association of colombiculture with which it maintains one of the most important traditions in the hamlet.
Also the Municipal Board has helped the party commission, the music band and the Brotherhood of Llano de Brujas.
Included in these grants are the peña huertana la Carreta and El Limonar.
Likewise, Zapata has acted as interlocutor with the City of Murcia for the construction of two areas of canine recreation by the Department of Modernization led by Jose Guillen.
