The City Council will work on the rehabilitation of the Plaza de la Enseñanza and the Plaza de San Benito del Infante (04/02/2017)

The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, has visited the neighborhood to learn firsthand the needs of the area.

Also will be undertaken the renovation and modernization of several green areas and gardens of the neighborhood.

The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, visited the neighborhood of Infante with the president of the Municipal Board, Juan José Izquierdo, municipal technicians and neighbors, to check on the spot and first hand the needs of The green areas.

Thus, Guillén has been able to know the ideas of improvement and requests of the neighbors as the rehabilitation of the Plaza de la Enseñanza.

In addition, the Municipal Board, has transferred to the councilman some of his ideas for a possible remodeling of other squares and Public Spaces of the Neighborhood.

Guillen recalled that in the time he has been councilor have been reformed and built, four playgrounds, although he promised to continue looking for how to apply new ideas to the neighborhood.

Also, during the visit to the area, the president of the Board asked him to study widening the width of the sidewalk in Avenida Lope de Vega to make it easier to pedestrian traffic among other topics of interest.

This meeting is part of the round of visits that Councilman José Guillén has been doing for months in different neighborhoods and districts in order to know the status and requests of neighbors and how to improve the infrastructure of parks and gardens, such as zones Canine recreation, children's games, sports zones or gerontogimnasia devices, and green spaces or Shaded Zones among others.
