The Networks Program reaches the cultural centers of several districts with more than 40 free activities for 8,700 young people during the weekends (24/01/2017)

It starts on Saturday, January 28 with the event 'Networks in the street' in the University Square from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

During 2016, 19,724 young people participated in the various activities held during the 27 weekends of the Networks program

The "Networks for leisure" program of the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, directed by Rebeca Pérez, reaches the cultural centers of several villages with a new program of free activities that starts next Saturday January 28 and extends During 10 weekends, where there are more than 40 free leisure and leisure activities for 8,700 young people from 12 to 30 years.

It begins with the event 'Networks in the street', on Saturday 28 in the University Square from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., which will be a sample of the different workshops that will be developed throughout the program .

There will be exhibitions of skate, scooter, Roller, personal defense, graffiti, kpop, funky, hip hop, frisbee as well as workshops in which attendees will be able to participate: magic, makeup, chess, painting, baking and natural cosmetics.

The activities to be developed in cultural centers, which this quarter will be 6, will be held on Friday afternoons between 17:00 and 19:00 hours and are as follows:

- Cultural center of El Esparragal

Photography Workshop with your Smartphone

Electric guitar workshop

There will also be activities in the youth venues such as the Youth Space 585M2, the Youth Venue and the Young Palmar space, in sports venues such as the José Barnés Sports Center, the municipal soccer field of Puente Tocinos and El Puntal.

"The new programming is characterized by its variety and attending to the requests and suggestions of young people, this quarter will be carried out activities that have had a large participation in previous programming, but also will be developed new activities, many of them requested By the young people themselves in the various surveys they have sent us, "Perez said.

Among the new activities of this quarter are:

-Astronomical observations next to the Artillery Park

-Kitchen stove with microwave

-Fresh bakery

-Trader of salty recipes

-Theatre street theater

-Massival make-up artist

- Application Design Workshop for IOS and Android

-Motorcycle maintenance station

-Rock maintenance station

-Guided routes: stories and legends of Murcia and underground Murcia

During the weekends young people will be able to go to skating, magic, personal defense, Spanish guitar, table tennis, kpop, skateboarding, BMX, Jugger, scrapbooking, crochet, design and fashion, natural cosmetics, frisbee, ...

In this program will be held the night soccer championship and the 7 inclusive soccer championship in which will participate numerous associations of Murcia.

During 2016, 19,724 young people participated in the various activities held during the 27 weekends of the Networks program.
