The Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, has completed the work of installing a new lighting in the Hall of Columns of the Almudí Palace.
The work has consisted in the replacement of the previous projectors by other 12 equipped with LED technology and that they have a system of orientation that allows a rotation of 360 degrees thanks to which the lighting can be adapted to the different expositions that are celebrated, being able Also regulate the beam of light.
The replacement of these projectors will save about 49,920 kWh per year.
With this initiative, the City Council seeks the optimal presentation of the works of art that are exposed, with the best light quality, which will allow the light to be projected in perfect harmony with the pictures.
The Department of Development has invested in this work 16,828 euros.
