Citizens get the local police to charge the same price overtime (14/11/2016)

The training orange claims to José Ballesta a new report of the legal services of the collective agreement for public employees to confirm that it complies with the law;

And to avoid that, as happened with the previous draft, it contains irregular aspects that violate the Law

The municipal group Citizens has requested in writing from José Ballesta a new report from the legal services that guarantees the legality of the collective agreement for public employees signed last Friday between the City Council and the unions.

The spokesman for the orange formation, Mario Gomez, considers it necessary for the municipal legal services to prepare the report, especially after confirming that the Consistory previously agreed to an agreement that sought to include local police to charge various amounts to be made extraordinary hours.

Satisfaction

"Good thing we warned about this irregularity," said Gómez, who stressed that "with the drafting of this new legal report we want to ratify that the agreement signed does not contain any aspect that violates the Law."

The Citizens' spokesman expressed his satisfaction that "thanks to our demands the principle of equal pay that the PP intended to implement in the service of the Local Police has not been broken, now all will be charged the same for each extraordinary hour that they realize outside their working hours".

Lack of staff

Also, Gómez, has again warned about the lack of local police.

"The lack of responsibility and political neglect of the last years of the PP has generated a considerable reduction of the workforce, leaving the agent per capita ratio well below the limits established as recommended by the directive of the European Union."

"Some shortcomings that, according to the spokesperson of the orange formation, are unjustifiable because they are severely reducing the quality of the service, to the detriment of the neighbors of particular districts, and the Murcia in general."
