Alejandro Blanco opens at the UCAM two projects related to the sports world congress (18/10/2016)

The International Congress 'Body and Spirit: Sport and Christianity in History' and 'VII Technical Conference Spanish Olympic Committee VI Congress of Olympism UCAM: Heroes in Rio' have started this morning at the Campus de Los Jeronimos with the inaugural conference Alejandro Blanco, president of the Spanish Olympic Committee, who was accompanied by José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, Antonio Sánchez Pato, dean of the Faculty of Sport.

Alejandro Blanco has been happy to inaugurate these events "that have global impact."

The International Congress 'Body and Spirit: Sport and Christianity in history' continues this afternoon in the auditorium with the participation of Thomas F. Scanlon and Endy Raschke (University of California - Riverside);

Juan Antonio Jimenez (University of Barcelona);

David Romero (University of Murcia);

and Juan Ramon Carbó, Antonio Sánchez Pato, Antonio Adolfo Diaz-Bautista, Juan Manuel Molina, Miguel Pablo Sancho, José Luis Jorquera and Alejandro Leiva (UCAM).

Meanwhile, the 'VII Technical Conference COE VI National Congress of Olympism: Heroes in Rio' is completely held this afternoon with two round tables involving seven of the Spanish medalists at the last Olympics: Mireia Belmonte, Saul Craviotto, Cristian Toro, Cooper Marcus Walz, Joel Gonzalez, Teresa Perales and Carlos Coloma.

They will be accompanied by their coaches and trainers.
