The University of Murcia (UMU) and the Ministry of Culture of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Madrid have signed a collaboration agreement in the building of convalescence, home of the Chancellor, whose main objective is the joint organization of activities today cultural cooperation and research.
The agreement also includes the development of training courses, workshops and seminars and other activities that contribute to scientific and technical progress.
After the signing, the professor of the UMU Pilar Garrido, general coordinator of the Campus Mare Nostrum, said that the line of collaboration between UMU and the embassy, ​​now formalized, and long ago began, and its latest manifestation exposure Persian art held in Murcia, and has advanced that soon specific agreements with various Iranian universities will be signed.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Culture, Alireza Esmaeili, said that the government of his country has granted two scholarships to the University of Murcia, on which in the near future its content and potential recipients will be implemented.
Moreover, thanked the collaboration of this educational institution to contribute to spreading the culture of Iran.
The rector, José Orihuela explained that the collaboration agreement further close ties that existed between the parties to the same.
