The UMU and Hefame will launch a simulation classroom practices pharmacy students (26/09/2016)

Students of Pharmacy degree from the University of Murcia (UMU) will have practical training for a classroom simulation pharmacy, under the terms of an agreement between the educational institution and the Hefame Foundation.

That agreement, which was signed today in Convalescence by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, and President of the Foundation, Carlos Coves, collect it is responsible for providing products parafarmacia necessary for the simulation of actual cases and and the categorization of those and supply of software.

The UMU, meanwhile, enable the office space and provide the specific furniture, as noted by the developer of the agreement, the associate dean of Pharmacy, Maria Antonia Murcia, who has shown pride in this classroom simulation that "going to allow students to practice in a more real way. "

Coves, in his speech, emphasized the Group's commitment and Hefame Foundation with universities and students of Pharmacy of the Region of Murcia, while the promotion, encouragement and stimulus actions within the Health Sciences.

For its part, the rector Orihuela, after highlighting the importance of collaboration between universities and private enterprise, has welcomed an initiative which he described as good for both the students and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia.

The signing ceremony was attended also by the Vice Chancellor of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences, José María Abellán, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Miguel Garcia Salom, among others.
