The Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta, who heads Antonio Navarro, has reopened the points of environmental information Majal Blanco, the site of the Contraparada and the visitor center of Majal Blanco, who during the summer have been closed to public for the hot season.
Information points have their opening hours on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:30 to 14:00.
For its part, the Visitor Center is open on Sundays Majal Blanco at the same time from 9:30 to 14:00.
These infrastructures are designed as a service to visitors from both the Municipal Forest Park Majal Blanco and the area of ​​La Contraparada, serving in this way the needs of some natural and cultural spaces emblematic of the municipality of Murcia and recorded an increasing influx public, especially people who practice hiking trails marked on the Small Tour Majal Blanco and walkers and cyclists approaching Contraparada.
Informants the Department provide visitors needed to know the most important environmental natural and cultural values, information, infrastructure and existing facilities for public use, revealing behavioral norms necessary for the conservation of nature and assets.
Similarly, the information point Majal Blanco place is a regular host of persons performing itineraries and other program activities information and environmental awareness of the Department.
From 2003 to May 2016 more than 24,000 visitors have been treated at the information desk of Majal Blanco.
As for the Visitor Center Majal Blanco, since its launch in March 2013, some 2,800 people have visited the center.
Meanwhile at the point of information area of ​​La Contraparada they have been treated since its opening in September 2015 to more than 2,000 visitors.
Information points are open, as every year, until early June.
