The City of Murcia will offer grants for self-employment and social economy thanks to the PSOE's proposal (22/09/2016)

Councilman Juan Vicente Larrosa and technical Municipal Socialist Group, Sebastián Peñaranda, participated today in the meeting of the working group of the Local Employment Pact, an initiative that has been driven in the city of Murcia in recent months thanks to an initiative of the PSOE approved by the municipal plenary.

Larrosa has proposed during the meeting about aid for self-employment and social economy that had been excluded from the basis of the call for aid published last August.

This proposal has been well received by all participants in the working group, in which local groups, the technicians of the Department of Employment (with its head forward, Jesus Pacheco), the director of the regional service are represented employment and Training (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, and staff of the University of Murcia.

These grants will have an initial budget of 180,000 euros.

Socialist representatives have also proposed that the dates be extended to apply for grants and subsidies to promote employment, so that they can benefit a greater number of people unemployed or those who wish to undertake.

Remember that, in addition to the Local Employment Pact, the Socialist Group won the municipal budgets for this year increase by EUR 500,000 items devoted to employment policies: 307,000 euros for procurement;

€ 30,000 for entrepreneurs quotas;

18,000 € for financing costs;

30,000 for start-up companies and 20,000 € for attending trade fairs, as well as support for business associations and social economy.
