The University of Murcia (UMU) has introduced the system of public bicycle transportation "MUyBICI", which is available to college with subsidized prices.
During this summer they are mounted five stations loan on the campus of Espinardo, in addition to the existing bench in Plano San Francisco and two in the University Square on the campus of Merced.
Stopes Espinardo campus are located in the North Classroom Building, Square Rector Sabater (Faculty of Biology), Plaza Pedro Jara Carrillo (Faculty of Communication and Documentation), Faculty of Education and Glorieta This (greenway).
Users of the University of Murcia adhere to MUyBICI enjoy free use between stations in the inter-campus service, a discount of 25% on current rates and two hours of loan (general users have one hour) .
The user of the UMU, which is authenticated by the University Smartcard (TUI), must register in the virtual campus SUM (https://suma.um.es/web/suma) or web www.muybici. org.
On Thursday, European Car Free Day was celebrated the launch of the service in a ceremony on the campus of Espinardo who has attended the rector, Jose Orihuela, and the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta.
